Swing radio on Monte probs and quick MOT question

Featured Replies

Hi.The other day my swing radio on my Fabis Monte Carlo lost capital fm (105fm)and now refuses to find it,just goes past it when searching.Roof ariel still present, but is there another ariel in front windscreen or am I overlooking something?

Also the wifes blower/heater controls don`t work any more so wont clear windscreen/warm interior up etc....and the MOT is due.Is this an MOT failure (on the grounds of not being able to clear front window) or isnt that part of the MOT? This isn`t a Skoda car but I know someone will know this one.Ta

If they dont need to turn the demister on, they wont know! Pick a nicer day and warm up the car first, keeping the windows open a little to help stabilise the temp. Big changes will make the glass mist more! I am guessing its either a simple fuse, switch faliure, or a vent pipe come adrift but if its a climate control system, it may be tricksy!

find radio station manualy

Instead of asking it to scan, use the right hand knob to manually scan, I had to this myslef whilst also searching for Captial FM. :whew:
