Not sure if it's what you are looking for but I removed the two end blanking covers on the switches above which removed the two long thin strips either side of the radio revealing screws fixing the radio surround.

I don't understand what you mean either - would a photo of it help?

The whole unit that sits under the dash that hold the radio, buttons and heater control I wasn't to remove.

Where the blanking plates are that cover the cup holder holes are I have a big scratch down the trim so I want to replace it

Thanks

Phil

The vertical bits unclip with persuasion. A wrapped large flat bladed screwdriver inserted from above, between the top of the trim and the end dummy button. Need to exert some pressure downwards and try twisting the blade a little until it pops out. Do the LHS one first them if you fark it, buy a cup holder. :)

Still not really sure what you mean - I can only assume you mean the whole centre console? Perhaps if you posted a picture of what you're trying to put in, people would understand which part you mean. Doesn't the new part itself give you clues as to where the fixings are?

I think you're going to have to just pitch in and start taking everything apart you can find - but it's going to be involved...

yeah thats a good word to use. could think of plenty other words but center console never came to mind - damit

the "Center Console" is what i have to get fitted. I can see some of the fixings.

i can also see 2 of the fixings are just under the centre vents where the hazard light swithc is.

thats prob the bits thats worrying me that i needs to mess with the whole dash which is why i was asking.

thanks

Phil
