I have a 2003 PD130 Elegance Estate.

I am 6ft 3in tall and though there is plenty of headroom I get backache after a while.I have played with the seat settings but feel that the lumbar support is too low down the seat profile for my height.

Anyone else had this problem?

I am thinking of getting a new Octavia late this year.Has the seat design changed?

but I'm 6'6" and travel plenty of miles and have never found a problem in the Octy (Old).

I did find huge problems in the SEAT Leon though.

Are you sure you have done all the adjustments and are tilting the seat slightly backwards rather than trying for a typical "upright" position?

Yes, the seats have been changed due to complaints of customers!

So probably more luck for you in the Octavia II.

6'3" here and no problems with the octy2 seats.

I concur with Stan, being 6'5" and do not suffer from any problems. It does take a lot of 'tuning' on the seat controls.
