Alien window kit.

Featured Replies

I diddnt want to hijack the Furby window thread as I know the Alien kit is only available for the Octy. I'm considering getting one of these as it seems quite a clever little thing to have. However I have a query, do you think it would be possible to like the rain sensor from a suitable donor vehicle to the Alien, or other system, so that the sunroof and windows closed when it started raining?

with the alien tech controller hw do you close the widows? just wondering hw it would affect my alarm

Right, the Alientech controller is connected to the window circuit and works by using an lock/unlock sequence with the original fobs (say unlock/lock/unlock to unlock the doors and lower the windows) I don't think it is designed to work with the rain sensor wipers. The windows can still be used in the normal ways.

dunno if i could get one as my alarm works off of the remote via the indicators

It does not touch any of the alarm circuits as it's connected up by the window and central locking circuits in the drivers door.

i have an aftermarket alarm that is triggered by the indicators

well if it does not work, you could always flog it on here

true, might have to invest in one

The indicators still flash just a bit more,

see here for how to fit one to an occy,

i have had one fitted for about 3 years now no problems. dont tink you could connect a rain sensor to wind up the windows though.
