how doo im 17 in three months and im very keen for a 1.2 skoda fabia mk1 so is theyre anyone out theyre with any experience or own one of these machines and what are the pros and cons to them , thanks

Although its a 1.2 I'm pretty sure it's a 16v engine which means its not slow, this also means insurance will cost a small fortune, especially for a lad of your age...

I have a Mark 1 Fabia Elegance 1.9TDi with, 16" Alloys, Cruise Control, Parking Sensors, Heated Seats.

Hi & welcome. My lad looked at similar type Skodas when around 17/18 yrs old and found even the most basic models way too expensive to insure. Great little cars but unfortunately I think you'd find the same. It's way over due for the insurance companies to be shaken up over young driver insurance and find much more fairer/equitable ways of getting careful and considerate young drivers up and running!
