Driving home heard a lovely leak of boost pressure under acceleration! Got home got the missus to rev it up and sounds like a lower intercooler pipe which i will reconnect at work monday. My main question is now its blowing pipes off is it best to upgrade to a front mount intercooler and pipe work? I have seen a good one on the group buy. Just wanted opinions on whether worth it or not? As dont want the pipes popping off on hard acceleration! Thanks in advance

Hello mate, I had this issue and ended up just replacing with a new standard pipe which hasnt gone wrong since. They are pricey tho! Something stupid like £85, the classic "we (skoda) know its a problem so we'll charge what we want". Im running a 170 bhp REVO remap so its handling that fine.

Cheers mate, i think i may go for the intercooler and pipe work as it does the standard oil weap from the crap clips on the joints which annoys me and it may be potentially better on pick up to! Well you can hope! lol
