Noticed the other night whilst driving my new Mk2 that the instrument panel lights around the centre console are still that awful green colour that'd been around donkeys years...

How easy is it to change / have them changed to a blue, for example?

I was going to 'ask a tech' but I cant currently start a new topic in there...

I'm sure that they're actually not green bulbs, but green lenses that a white light shines through, so maybe not possible.

If not, changing the bulbs in these will involve removing some panels and sodding around for ages just getting yourself stressed out.

Then when you're done, the panels and stuff you've moved is likely to rattle & squeak and annoy you more than the green colour.

My advice, steer well clear :wonder: Looks alright anyway I think.
