DAB Radio through MDI socket?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I have one of those little Pure DAB digital radios which I have been playing through my Bolero via the round AUX socket, but the socket has become faulty and now I only get the right channel. It's definitely the socket as I've tried different leads, and the radio works fine elsewhere. My question is can I use it through the MDI socket instead, and can you get such a thing as a MDI - audio (single round plug) lead?

Cheers,

Bob

Personally, I'd repair the socket, shouldn,t take too long to do. ;)

The car's still in warranty and will be due a service in a month or two, so I will get it fixed then, as I don't think it's worth booking it in just for the socket.

Even better! No cost, no effort! ;)

Bonus! Might be worth giving them a good weeks notice so they have a chance to order a new part.
