Steering on my vRS doesn't inspire me with confidence, It feels as if it wants to wander its especially noticable on the motorway, as per previous recommendations I have had the tracking done and changed console & ARB bushes etc etc to Superpro ones but still not happy.

Noticed tonight when the engine was off if I rocked the steering I can hear a metal on metal like click.

Any ideas what this could be or even if it's normal.

I had a few knocks coming from the front of my fabia including the knock when moving the steering wheel from side to side a little bit when stationary. If memory serves me correctly we changed the steering arms (along with drop links and track rod ends) but I'm sure there was play on the arms. Not sure how helpful this is but I didn't want to leave u there with no replies :-)

Have suspension checked again and make sure you got no play in bushes or ball joints. Then get tracking/alignment with print out and I will analize it for you. Other then that its hard to give you advice online.
