Headlights adjustable?

Featured Replies

I have to admit, I thought headlights were fixed items, but noticed yesterday that the grill is sitting inside the offside headlight, but sitting ON TOP of the edge of my nearside one which has resulted in thankfully no damage to the light (carbon bonnet & plastic badgeless grille) but has cracked the grille where it joins on to the bonnet. Bonnet is on dead straight so has to be the nearside headlight not quite sitting right when bolted up. Can the headlight be moved closer to the wing??

Yep, there should be a bit of room for moving them around. Loosen the retaining screws and try to give it a wriggle

Well, that was easy! Got the toolbox out ready to do battle after work and all I did was loosen off side one, take out top 2, push light a bit more to the outside of the car, tighten up side one, do up top ones again, and bonnet fits nicely between them. Feel a bit of a twonk now for fitting first time without checking grille alignment between them. Need a new grille long term now! :(

Car is looking good on the new lights
