Hi there does anyone know where I can trace back service history? iv mis placed it while moveing houses and i am gutted the key is not much of a problem as it can be brought as ov been to my local dealer and they can't help!! Ar******$!

If you have owned the car from new and went to the same garage for the services, then easy days!

Just give them a ring / pop in to the garage, and ask them to get you a copy. For that you will need!

1)Proof of ownership of the vehicle?

2)About £30 - £40 (i'd imagine)

In a very recent thread i mentioned retrieving lost service history. In the end i noticed my fabia still had the original reg plates on with "Skoda Telford" stamped on them. I just googled that, got their phone number and gave them a ring. I spoke to someone who gave me a brief history of my car but couldn't tell me much other than it was last logged into the garage back in 2009.

So really you need proof you own the car your enquiring about. You will need to purchase a new service history book and get them to date and stamp everything, asuming the garage you went to is a dealership and will have things logged. Some have argued skoda and other dealerships don't actually log service work, only warranty work carried out on the vehicle... If this is the case for you i don't see a way of getting a genuine service book stamped and up to date.
