i am trying to fit a 1/4 side window and need any help you could give me

Personally I'd get auto glass to come and fit it.

Basically you have to remove the door panel, wind the back wind down out the way.

Take all the rubber seals from around the window off which will mean the windows are not being supported, replace the 1/4 panel, replace all the seals from around the windows and replace door card etc etc...

It's a lot harder than it sounds and probably not worth risking damage, I'd rather pay auto glass.
