Can you fit a atmospheric dump valve to vrs ? If so what's best

Featured Replies

Just bought a 51 plate Octavian vrs for the missus and she wants the tisccchh , what's best and is it safe ? I have looked at a few threads and got about 20 different answers

Forge 007p recirculating valve goes tsch with a carbon intake airfilter (best setup for engine)

Or if you just want a tsch you want the forge split-r valve, does both, dumps and recirculates

noooooooooooooo!! you can get a splitter valve that dumps a bit into the air and a bit back into the engine. But 90% of people end up taking them off. I have a very loud Tiisshh through my induction kit and a Forge 008 recirc DV. my filter sits next to my battery and behind the head light so it will not suck up water but stays cold enough not to suffer from heat soak. if i turn my AC on the fan blows cold air on it too! (that was not on purpose)

thats your best option if you want a bit of noise and your car to run correctly.

EDIT: jase beat me too it. lol i do not agree with the Carbon pipe expensive crap that puts your filter 3" off the road tho.

Oops obviously a Octavian isn't a new model it's this dam iPhone

Uprate your recirc valve and add a performance panel filter such as a pipercross or a K&N. You will get a nice "ptshhhhh" but nothing over the top so that people look at you and think "what an arse" :). You also get a nice spooling noise on full boost. Dependant if its remapped of corse :)
