Scratch on lower spoiler near front fog lamp

Featured Replies

Touch up pen, very fine grit sand paper and somebody with a polishing machine to bring the finish back.

Either that or somebody proffesional. Pretty deep scratch right there.

I've got one just like that .... havent done anything about it yet, I'll watch what you do with interest :)

After 6500km with my "new Greenline II estate", the only damage so far is a scratch on the plastic spoiler/trim near the front fog light.

Any ideas on how to treat it?

And any ideas on how to post images in this forum?

Q1 : Try to forget it, it happened and it will happen again. And I am quite sure that you are the only one who see it.

Q2 : Take a look at thread Attaching Photos.

2: This would work - except the photo is hosted on Google+ and uses https, which this forum doesn't seem to like.

1: I think stratosg got it right - only I will notice. So here's my solution - try to get another one on the other side to match!

Get a spray paint with exact colour match. Spray it locally after light wet sanding (1500 grit). Wet sanding is risky, pay great attention.
