Hi mate,

You won't get one in Oz. They make one for the Octavia but not the Superb.

I had one made as a "one off " from a motor trimmer (who has since gone out of business!).

Try any good motor trimmer/auto upholsterer in your area. They should be able to make one like mine from a much softer material than the moulded types. It is a bit like felt so you just lay it down to follow the shape of the dash. I didn't want to use any velcro tabs so the guy just made it wider so it tucked in hard between the dash and the windscreen.

Cheers

Ian

The superb 2 shares nothing with the Passat and is based on a Golf / Octavia platform that has been increased in length slightly.

You allmost got it right. :)

The Golf, octavia platform is called PQ35.

It is in fact true that Superb is build upon a streched PQ35, but the same goes for the Passat.

The strechted PQ35 is called PQ46: "Volkswagen Group A5 PQ35 (PQ46)"

Actually, the Superb here in Europe is build on the same PQ46 spec as the Passat in China. Thats why it's slightly longer than the normal Passat in Europe.

To recap: The PQ46 is actually just a long wheel base revision of the PQ35 (Golf/Octavia platform).
