TH Motorsports and Matt Hamilton's websites are both still delivering news of the Octavia entering NGTC but can't seem to find any news relating to either of them.

may be entering later on in the season apparently

They lost a big sponsor and the idea has been scrapped at present

Was looking forward to seeing the Octy race.....

Just to clarify an earlier statement for those that missed it.

As you will have noticed, Matt is not out for the start of the 2012 BTCC season. Unfortunately, a main investor pulled out of the Skoda NGTC project at the turn of the year, and we have been unable to fill the financial shortfall.

The project is all ready to go when the finances are in place, but in the current economic climate, this is proving very difficult to find.

Rest assured, we are still looking, but cannot give a date for the re-launch of the project.
