Which pad's?

Featured Replies

I'm after a little bit of advice, I was going to order some new pad's soon for my DA ready to tackle to paintwork on the vRS ready for the summer weather. I've used in the past Menzerna pad's but I'm having trouble trying to find anywhere which is currently selling them (usually buy from Polished Bliss)

Just wondering if anybody has any alternative suggestions to some pad choice's, Ideally I need a pad which has a aggressive cut as I do need to cut the paintwork back a fair way due to some of the imperfections which are present?

I must not of been looking right on there as I couldn't find them myself before haha. Would you say the Menzerna pad's are the heaviest cut or are they better one's out there?

I have only ever used the Menzerna ones and I have not had to use an aggressive pad as my paint is pretty decent nick for the age. So I dont know on that one. However personally I would just try some but start on a less aggressive pad and work onto a more aggressive one if necessary.

Chemical Guys Hexalogic pads get good reviews as do the 3M range. Im still using the Menz pads that came with my DAS6 pro.
