I am planning to upgrade the wheels size of my octavia U1 from 16

Unless you have **very** low profile tyres then you will get them rubbing when turning corners.

I would say the car would need to be lowered for sure or it may well look very odd indeed. Be carefull with coil overs though on large wheels, sometimes the collar where the spring sits can foul the tyre.

Welcome to Briskoda. :wave: Which version of the Octavia do you own? That wheel and tyre combination sounds rather extreme for the Octavia and, even if they do fit without rubbing, the ride would probably be very hard. And I would have thought that reasonable suspension travel would be a priority for some roads in India.

Thanx for the advice ..........So what about 8.5 X 18 will it fit without any problem???and what is the max size of tyre that can go on in U1 (the width) 225 , 235 or 245???
