Can't see video either dam

Check the bottom of the last page. Just been out and done mine. That right angled plastic pin is a bit tricky to swivel up if it's never been done before, but five minutes and the change is much better now; certainly better than in the time I've owned the car :)

Just to recap anyone know how to do it on a 5 speed or is it still a dealer job :/

Is yours not like in the video?

I have yet to look but by memory yes. Just noted someone saying they had the 5 speed and it was different. Unfortunately I'm on iPhone tapatalk app so can easily miss bits lol. If its as easy as it says I'm chuffed

Yey I can shift into 3rd without looking like a learner lol

Are you gently pulling back on the cables when the adjusters are open?

Yes sorted it early this morning, a pal of mine came round it was the home position lock on the gearbox wasn't working properly. He did something and all sorted now lol. He said if the home position lever doesn't click into place you have to fiddle with it as it brittle inside. The car is 12 years old so could have been the issue. Thanks for replying.

I had the same problem with the lever on the box. It would go to 45 degrees no problem, but not all the way to 90. Then I managed to get it just right and it slipped in
