Hi so this noise has also started to bug me more and more, im sure its getting louder.

Along with my problem of the knocking from the engine and the scored camshafts im at my wits end with this car, however im keeping it and its getting put right at no cost to me as it has a 12 month extended Skoda warranty

You can hear a sort of a grinding rythmic noise, it only does it when in gear and driving with the fan on, doesnt matter if air con is running.

It does speed up to a certain extent when engine speed rises but only a little

Careful posting vids whilst driving not mounted on public roads on a public forum or even youtube you never know if some jobs worth will see it.

His passenger was shown in video to be of the invisible variety....... since you didn't see it whats the point poking at me he can easily have just posted it as audio only without compromising himself legally. So what's the harm in trying to help with that? Why not suggest he records the sound only since thats the question or posts it again without the video not my problem at the end of the day so do one and leave me out of it now!

different ways of showing the problem have been advised to be fair. so it is now up to the OP to jsut slightly amend his video to sound only and then people can carry on. its no point moaning just because Fubar was looking out for someone. i would rather not know what the rattle was than to have the coppers knock on my door and give me a fine for dangerous driving

we are trying to!!!! hence the suggestions of how to get the problem video back up but in a safe manner!!! but seems you wont listen to a few of us tonight anyway-so will get "fikes" to tell you we are trying cos you will listen then. sorry Fordfan-not going off topic, just trying to get it through to silver that we are actaully trying to help!
