Rear legroom - is it much more than an Octavia?

Featured Replies

The What Car pic that P&N posted shows 103cm for the Superb vs 109cm for the Octavia, that's 6cm ;)

Fair enough I was just looking at the 6mm difference on your boot floor measurements, 1058-1064 and I did not look at the picture, sorry.:blush:

I like he What car diagrams easy for side by side comparisons

Shame they are not accurate.

My Wife has an Octavia and we have to put the passanger seat forward in that if we have the grandsons car seat in to stop him kicking the back of the seat (new game at 18 months). with the Superb we dont have to bother. My daughters fiancee is 6'5" and he has plenty of leg room behind me (I'm 6'3") with out altering any thing. The Superb is just huge on legroom in the rear.

Thanks P&N - it was the estate pics that I was looking at and hence the confusion. Thought it must be a typo, but glad you lot have cleared it up. We're going to hang fire for the moment and see what the space is like in my new company car (A4 avant), but pretty sure it won't be much different from the Octy. I'll then see if I can persuade SWMBO that the VAT free offer on some Superb's is worth a gander!

I bought the Superb because of exactly the same problem - 3 year old kicking my back. The difference is amazing. He'll have to be 5'7" before he can reach me.

As for the A4 Avant, IIRC it's slightly tighter than the Octy. Go for the Superb
