What about fitting 280mm FS III brakes into TDI100?

My friend can offer me a set of FS III brakes (280mm disc,caliper,hub,pads-probably from Octavia) for a very reasonable price.I'm looking in the Vw Etka ilustrations and see no difference between 256 and 280 brakes except dics,pads and hub.Even the caliper is the same.Has anyone got a chance to see those brakes in action?
