Can anyone tell me on the following car ;

2010 Octavia L & K 1.8 tsi manual hatchback - if it would have the following as standard :

> Bluetooth

> electric seats

> ESP

Not sure on spec in your location as I have heard models are higher specced there.

But if it was sourced in Yorkshire it would not have Bluetooth as standard, but it would have the other 2.

Will have electric seats and ESP. Id be appalled if it didn't have Bluetooth fitted tbh.

As above, esp and seats but Bluetooth isn't standard

Bluetooth was not standard on any Octavia in 2010, if it has it then it will have been an optional extra.

In the UK I bought new a 2010 Octavia L & K 1.8 tsi manual estate and it had electric adjustable driver's seat, and both front seats are heated (not rear) as standard.

ESP was also standard.

BT was an option I had fitted, along with the steering wheel controls.

Bluetooth is definitely standard on a L&K Octy in Ireland. Vrs aswell.

I'd say there are feck all L and K Octys in Ireland

Bluetooth is standard on all Octavias in Ireland bar the classic and has been since 2009.

Thing is there are literally no face lifted 1.8 TSI Octavia's for sale in Ireland ( which is the car I want )

So I will more than likely have to buy it in England or the North

Remember when the Travelling community all drove Hiace vans?

Well there was an obvious reason for it.

They were indestructable. Now you see every Tom,**** & Harry driving one.

Could be something in it why most drive Diesels here now. :)

Thought the current diesel buying influx in the RoI was due to your vehicle taxation system being massively more weighted to them, compared with petrols?

Or have I missed something....

You are correct.

diesels are hugely favourable with the post '08 taxation system here. But story has it this is going to change in this years budget.

I don't mind too much if the road tax increases, I just hope they leave the VRT bands alone.

anything that affects my pocket, I do mind : )

wheter it be road tax, VRT, household charge, water meter charge, USC etc etc.

Sorry for seeming so selfish, I don't pay my road tax (company car) but I pay it on my wifes 11 year old 2.0 petrol engined car that has a drinking problem.

If they change the VRT rates it could have a much bigger effect then just changing the road tax rates.
