hi,just had news from local skoda dealer that my car(fabia mk1 vrs se) will have the rust spots that have appeared on sills and rear arches,done under warranty. car is 5yrs old,so if any race blue vrses,octavia or fabias show signs get it sorted before the warranty runs out. salesman says its common on this colour!?,sills had a quarter of the paint depth of the doors,when using a special meter!. Im glad i took it in to them,if you dont ask,you dont get it.

Yes - photos would be good - can't find any on mine

will try and get some photos,when it stops raining! the areas are quite small,but need sorting before it gets worse.

I've checked mine this evening by touch and can't feel anything amiss.
