Just had a call from the dealer - apparently the new car has been built and is on the boat. Hopefully will be in my hands before the end of the month! That's at least a week earlier than originally forecast.

Getting excited now

Popped into my dealer earlier this week and he says to me 'good news, your car is being built this week' no more than about 4 weeks and you will have, perfect I thought, anyway I asked to make sure that what was being built was correct, turns out the dealer order full leather instead of the black VRS alcantara interior, so I could of had that as a free upgrade but I hate full leather so they have now ordered the correct options and have now been put back about 7 weeks! So frustrating, so these posts of people receiving them soon just makes me jealous!!! Good luck on your new car!

Catzi, great news! I can still remember when I had the same news in June 2010. How excited was I?? Very.

Even more so when I finally got to see it! Was the first time I had bought a new car. Very special feeling.

dammit - i've been waiting nearly a week for my car to be shunted on to the boat... stop taking up vital spaces

i've threatened the dealer that i'll go over to Germany and drive it over myself if it doesn't get loaded up soon!

good to hear there's not much time between loading on boat and pickup anyways
