Due my 10,000 mile service from the hand book think its just a lub change going to St Andrews Skoda Glasgow any ideas how many pennies i will have to part with . got about the 140 odds figure in my head.

and 47.50 for the oil

Mines on variable too, nearly 2 years old and had 17500 on the clock, service cost

Get the oil from halfords when they have it on special for 25-30 quid inc vat, get dealer to fit what you supply saves about

I wish I'd done that - but it didn't occur to me - doh!

Then what happens if the car goes bang will the warranty people say "non skoda supplied oil" tough sh@t

as the oil you buy from halfords is full vw50?? spec slx longlife II.

its the same as what any garage would fit.

I did have them same concerns and did ask and the dealer was quite happy to fit te oil as it was the same as what they would fil it up with...
