vRS second hand prices

Featured Replies

I was visitng my dealer, not quite local to me but where I purchased my car from and i noticed that he had 2 yes 2 Octavia vRS's one black & one red going for

After 3 years and 50k miles I don't think 9.5k is that bad a price to be honest. It's a fair amount of use thats been had out of them , and the price of new ones has dropped.

Yes i had a choice of mine at

They have held their price much better than any car book had predicted, 40% after 3 years and 36k was what I saw, but the car felt so good I though stuff it. I traded mine in last month after 3 years and 43k and got 53% back which is very good, and that was trade in.

They may tumble a bit when the new rs is out, but i'd imagine a cult following will see a good example fetch a fair price. Condition is going to be the key and there are plenty of caring owners around.

Plus the new VRS is going to be at least 4k more than the old one is selling for , so there will still be plenty of demand for the cheaper car
