Was out in a car park and there just happened to be 2 Octys parked next to each other

pre facelift and facelift............big difference between them

face lifted one looks well and modern

pre facelifted looks VERY dated, looks like something from 1990's, IMHO

That on the right is not a pre-facelift mk2 its a mk1 !

It looks like something from the 90s because it is something from the 90s :giggle:

That's probably because the mk1 is from the 1990's :D

No, the car on the right has a 2008 registration

im in Ireland so maybe the mk1/mk2 has different life cycles here

Wrong, they carried on selling the mk1 alongside the mk2 for years, mainly for taxi use. Its definitely a mk1, regardless of reg year.

just thought when I seen the 2008 reg. that it must have been a mk2..................................hands up

I struggled to tell the various versions from one another until I bought one :happy:

mark 1 ran from 1996 to 2010
