SatNav - info required

Featured Replies

Hello,

Can anyone help me decide if the SatNav system on the new Octy is worth having?

Can one attach a tv tuner to it?

Dose it display some information (like temp., radio station, etc...) when not using the nav map?

Can anyone with this system post some pictures?

Thanks allot.

Vlad.

to answer your questions

Yes with the correct tuner it can display TV (or any other AV info)

it functions as a radio and can look like a radio while still giving nav info

does not show the temp

will play CDs when no using the nav, if you have the 6 CD changer then it can play CDs while navigating.

No pics at the moment will see what I can do

Thanks for the info.

Will it display the radar info when in reverse? (if one has the parking sensors) as some of the radios do? (I think the Audience)

No it does not, you still get the audio but nothing on the Sat

The SatNav also records and playback the TMS messages of the last 2 hours

And if you take the factory phone option this is also viewable on the SatNav screen.
