Featured Replies

After a crap day at work I thought it would be a good idea to take my anger out on GT4.

Turned on PS2 and was greeted with the message "memory card has corrupt data"

Didn't you back it up?

No me neither, when I lost 3 months worth of GT3 data after accidentally washing my memory card.

Hard luck Chris :thumbdwn:

Sorry to here of your demise,

Perhaps I'd better buy another card to backup the data to. I am at 20% now.

Never thought to back it up, ive been using play station for years and never had a problem like this, you lives and learns.

One good point, the licences seem a lot easier second time around.

Turn auto save off.

So much safer.

Special conditions - Done easy and normal, hard still to do, and it is hard.

Then theres all the little Events to do and driving courses etc.

Got all the licences though :)

Must do a back up!

Hard luck mate, never really thought about potential problems with the memory cards. But I suppose they're like any kind of data storage, they can break at any time - usually at the worst possible moment :(

Good luck with getting back into it...

Steve
