Please someone help me decide

Featured Replies

I've been searching the web and browsing forums and I'm still confused :S

I want a bluetooth kit that plays my iPhone music, does the hands-free phone thing, can charge the iPhone if needed, and also enables me to use an iPhone sat nav app if I get one.

So far it's a list of three:

1. Parrot MKi9100

2. Parrot MKi9200

3. Motorola TK 30

I was thinking the 9200 would be good, but then I thought another screen in the car would be distracting and apparently the music titles are on a continuous moving scroll, which would drive me mad.

The 9100 sounds like a solution to the extra screen problem, but then I read reviews about poor quality sound.

The Motorola I can find little about so have no idea if it works with iPhone 4S or not?

All of them appear to use their own amp rather than the Symphony amp so I'm worried about that. I don't ever have the music booming ( I have kids in the back usually) but I do want to hear music clearly on the motorway.

Can anyone help me decide please, with their own, or others', experiences of these kits? Or any suggestions for alternative kits?

Much obliged

Anyone?

The screen on the 9200 is large, especially compared to my 3100 and it depends on where it is located. A friend with a Honda CRV has one installed but I wouldn't say it was distracting.

Cheers. I think I'm going to go with the 9100 and stick it in the ashtray.

I'll post pics when it's done but I don't think too many are interested judging by the lack of response :(

I got my 3100 because a friend was too prone to shiny things - he went to get his 3100 swapped into his new car and came away with a 9200 instead, so he gave me his old one.
