De Cat or not for stage 2 map

Featured Replies

After weeks off uprating my car in preparation for a stage 2 map I am itching to get my car on the rolling road. I have all the normal mods for a decent map EXCEPT for the De Cat.

Anyone know how much BHP will be lost if I keep my Cat on & will I notice a huge difference with a De Cat? I don't really want a De Cat but if it makes a huge difference then I will get it done,

Also is there a issue with the MOT pass? Ive heard they just do a smoke test and not emissions on diesels...

Anyone have good reviews on Awsome Gti stage 2 maps?

Fabia Vrs pd150 hybrid

Large FMIC

Southbend clutch

K&N panel filter

Jatex Full Exhaust

You'll be fine without a cat!

220bhp is possible....

My friend got his car mapped at awesome gti stage 2 hybrid.... Rollered it on a set of non awesome gti rollers and it made 187bhp!

So id look elsewhere!

He's since got it mapped again elsewhere and it made 227bhp on the same rollers a 40bhp difference :o

Get in touch with oscarli and see if you can get yourself a custom richard washbrook map :)

Wow thats a epic loss in bhp. I would be angry at 187 bhp. Think I will look else where then. How much for Washbrook map? Seems Oscarli only supply software to trade partners. Maybe I can contact Oscarli and hope to receive a reply for richard. Worth a shot i spose. Your friend got any contact info for this guy?

Email oscarli! He will do it... He doesnt advertise but should be no problem

I think it cost me 330 with a bit of bartering :)
