Felly Droning On?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks, most recently the old Felly has developed an odd droning originating from the front end. Tends to be more noticeable at speeds between say 30 & 70 mph and difficult to pin down. To me it's not dissimilar to tyre/road related noise and I've posted in the tyre section but suspect I may not get a response due to the type of tyres in question (Maxmiler - X, GT Radial, some wear & appear to be quite a hard compound. Bias towards commercial use). I've spun both front wheels and nothing obvious bearing related, but perhaps that's different under load? Can't detect anything particularly on tick over.

So basically not sure and hoping perhaps someone may have experienced similar or can give some pointers. Ta.

perhaps this will help:
