Hi Guys

I'm writing my first ever forum topic so please bear with me if I don't follow any etiquette.

I've recently bought a 54 reg facelift Skoda Octavia Classic and would like to add cruise control and remote lock to my existing central lock. Could anybody advise as to likely cost and recommended places I can get that done. Also can it done DIY given I've not done any previous work on a car.

I've done a bit of research in this regard but would sincerely appreciate the first hand experience of all you good hearted wise people.

There's a guy off vagcars forum (northeast based forum) who does this type of retrofit work.

I think he's based in Hartlepool.

He mainly does audis but might do skodas. I'll try and find a URL or contact details for you.

Some dealers do it as an OEM mod too.
