Ibiza

Work colleague had ibiza ( only the 130 ) traded for Leon 150.

He has driven my furby, recons it is not as harsh as his Ibby was, but feels a LOT quicker than his Leon ( my furby is just off std ).

Going by his reaction, keep the furby & mod :)

Dont Get Me Wrong I Love My Skoda Just Like The 150 Lump In It Please Santa Skoda

If its the same engine ask them to swap the ECU for the 150 std ecu :) mind u dads car is 147bhp standard from a 130 lol

Seat has a lot to say for it but i love the skodas bulk and cabin quality!

Take my advice ....*whispered* REVO!!!!!

the 150 bhp must be petrol in the ibiza. (156 actually) they only go up to 130 bhp in the diesel. Tom. ps unless it was a cupra.

If it's the new Ibiza Cupra TDI, it's a PD160, not a 150

Oh, and I've yet to see a standard TDI produce anything other than stock power and torque on JBS's rollers.

If he's on about the Ibiza 1.8T FR, then yes it is pretty quick as standard, not a million miles off a Clio 172. My mate has one, and now he has it remapped, and its pretty quick, probably slightly quicker than a CTR, but with a lot more torque.

Nevertheless, I've also been in a remapped Ibiza TDI Sport, and the difference it made to the car was an eye opener to say the least, it felt just as quick, or perhaps even quicker than the remapped 1.8T. Whether it actually is, is another question entirely, but it *felt* quicker.

If its the same engine ask them to swap the ECU for the 150 std ecu :) mind u dads car is 147bhp standard from a 130 lol

Which rollers gave you that figure?

Steve
