Is this a mark1 A4 or mark 2 A5

Featured Replies

It's a mark 1 octavia

That is a Mk1.

I believe production was extended to cater purely for the taxi market and as a result you can see 2008 registered Mk1's...

Yeah seen loads of 2008 mk1 taxis, always thought it was strange!!!!

Again, it's a MK 1, probably done for a taxi.

It's still sold in some markets (India being a good example of Octavia (MK 1) and Laura (Octy MK 2 to us).

Yes they call it a tour now

MK1 ended production in 2010.

Old stock still around and available from the Taxi Centre in Scotland. Quite cheap to buy one now.

Yep, defo a mk1. Just had a quick look at the VRM info:

SH58 EBX

REG - 01/12/08

CHASSIS - TMBDS41U598840780 (1U refers to mk1, 1Z is mk2)

ENGINE CODE - AXR

etc.

There is an 09 plate running around Bridgend, was quite surprised when I'd seen it but my Dad told me that they are kept in stock because Taxi firms love 'em

I'm pretty sure it's not an A4 or an A5 though!!!
