Hello all,

I have 2 questions. My car is a 2010 (FL) VRS TDI CR with DSG. It has from factory, Columbus, MFSW and MaxiDot...

1. The buttons highlighted in red do not appear to do anything! Are they meant to forward/back a track on CD/SD?

2. From factory, is there supposed to be Sat Nav directions displayed in the MaxiDot display? As at the moment, I do not have this.

I believe the answer is yes and yes.

I have MFSW and the Bolero, and those buttons on mine forward and reverse a track on CD/memory stick etc, and I believe the maxidot will display the sat nav directions.

Out of interest, did you have the car new? As if its a used one then maybe the Columbus has been retrofitted and not coded properly maybe?

Either way I would pop along to your dealer and get them to sort it out.

Thanks for your quick answer!! I did not have it since new, however I have the original spec sheet / invoice for it, and it has all the factory options listed. Will have to make a visit to the dealer then!

When i first installed my columbus the maxidot didn't display but the forward and back arrows worked fine. Trip to dealer as you are under warranty though!
