Bilbury wheel cleaner

Featured Replies

Does it strip polish/wax/etc ???

It's safe in the sense of being able to be used on painted, chrome etc type wheels. So would say it is safe on polish/wax - presume you have the wheels waxed?

It's amazing stuff, obviously dilute it correctly, and let it soak for a few minutes, would recommend that your wheels are waxed first though, I've used them on wheels which arnt waxed and its been fine. Never use wonder wheels! It's stupidly acidic. I used it to clean my engine block...

I've polished, sealed and waxed them lol

I just don't want it stripping the layers off thats all

I got a few litres of so I'll dilute it down

Cheers guys

It won't strip the wax per se, however if you use neat or at low ratio dilution then it will eat into.

Tardis on the other hand will eat straight through it.

My wheels are coated with FK1000p and it only needs a pressure wash and every so often a clean with normal car shampoo.

I used Collinite 845 insulating wax, seems to have the done job lol

I just wanna keep it on there as long as possible

Very safe

pH Neutral..Will not strip waxes off

If you've polished, sealed and waxed your wheels you should only need to use shampoo to get them clean.

I have dilute shampoo in spray bottle that I apply, agitate with a wheel brush and then just washmitt them clean. No need for a specific wheel cleaner.
