Im planning on buying one of there front mounts for my fabia as im sick to death of the standard boost pipes and i recently got my hybrid.

Basically can anyone tell me if there any good?! i know there was a group buy but looking through there didnt really give me any idea of if there any good.

Depends what boost pipes you're sick of. It doesn't replace much of them.

Cut connectors off pipes near the SMIC, attach new silicone and piping to the new FMIC.

IMO the intercooler and installation is good for the money. The main concerns appear to be the mutilating of the factory hoses (cut ends off) and supporting the near-side boost pipe as it turns to pass the front frame up to the intercooler.

If you order this, check the thread in group buys. And also, do an inventory of everything supplied when the package arrives. More than one person has had an incorrect silicone pipe supplied or had parts missing.

Okay mate thanks for that. Basically i have a boost leak and i cannot find where it is.. and the top smic pipe is one i wanted to replace idealy as its a bit battered. From what ive seen now i may be better saving up and getting a seat sport one.

still waiting on mine, im very impatient lol. Some one rang up today and got it for the £200 group buy price, wish I rang now but like i said im impatient and ordered out of hours. Its replace the connector that im having my problems with so im happy....well hopefully will be when it gets here

i dont know whether to buy one or not.. i emailed them about the group buy and had no reply yet. searching the net for a second had seatsport but i cant find one. and i still cant find this boost leak. cant even drive my car properly lol.

well ive had confirmation that its been dispatched and emailed them yesterday as its meant to be 24 hour delivery and heard nothing too. Well i think if your running your hybrid now theres no point in skimping on other parts so do it right, i would say buy the ths intercooler as meant to have a stronger core than the seat sport but is the same set up and the forge pipe work will fit it.

only problem is the ths intercooler is more than the kit that is supplied. the txautosport one must be rated to atleast 300hp. if i can get it for 200 i probs will buy it. then just have to replace all the other pipes i suppose. just dont like the idea of having to chop the oem pipes.. bit of a bodge job imo.

I am going to get my local exhaust place to make up the rest of the pipes that this kit doesn't replace as they use top grade ally and samco pipes. Well like I said I will let you know my thoughts when mine finally arrives and will take plenty of pics from start to finish.

hopefully yours will arrive tomorrow morning then haha! im probably gonna ring them tomorrow unless they email me back today. my friend owns a garage and has loads of silcone hoses lying around ill try and match one up, ill be a happy bunny then. also do you know if you can run the sump guard still? we have massive speed bumps round here and i scrape on most of the square ones around my college. so i dont wanna run without it.

I am yet to fit mine Joe so that would be nice and I was going to get my exhaust dealer do the same thing

i just been on the phone to them and they have contacted city link and supposedly they have lost my package so hes on the phone to them now getting to the bottom of it and ringing me back. Yer you can run your under tray i heard they need some slight cutting but nothing major, mine is off at the moment might even leave it off.

rang back before i sent this and said its lost in the system its not saying delivered...because its not or on the way its just somehow gone walkies (dodgy driver) city link have said only thing they can say is the label must of come off etc. They are sending me another out today but obviously wont get here till monday now :( . He was very apologetic but i said stuff like this happens from time to time and at this point its not tx fault. He also said they used to use british mail and just over 2 grands worth of stuff in a few orders but sent at the same time some how got lost in transit :wonder: safe to say they dont use them now haha.

Just a heads up, check the amount of clamps you have before fitting as i was missing a few and had to get them sent. They sorted it very quickly and was very helpful. You have to chop 2 pipes to fit this kit but nothing challenging really. Olly

How many clamps should there be? Can you give me a list of everything thats included?

Counting in my head from memory i would say 11 clamps, 3 90 bends, 2 45 bend, short ally pipe, long ally pipe and the sensor relocator pipe.....oh and a intercooler maybe. Be cool if im right just thinking from memory of pics lol.

mine arrived today after the second attempt. all parts are there and intercooler was packed very well so im happy so far. will get fitting this weekend now.
