TPS outlets are run by the dealers. They were developed to bring parts sales back to VW Group and away from the likes of Euro Car Parts.

Typically main dealer parts would have a high % margin, by reducing this margin and selling via TPS, VW Group maintains parts sales.

Plus as new car sales are low, motorists are keeping cars longer and either maintaining themselves or taking to independent garages - who can buy via TPS.
