Featured Replies

Hi

I have changed my front brake discs and pads and alos a brake caliper, so in tried bleeding the system i did the silly thing of letting the level drop, so what is the best course now?

1. let a mechanic come out and do it

2. try do it my self, i do have a self bleed kit

Can i have your advise please?

thanks

Got a feeling you'll have to start at the beginning and bleed the whole lot including the master cylinder

As long as you have a pressure bleeder and a copy of a haynes manual handy I don't see why you can't m8

Yeah I have a bleeding kit with a hose goes in to the bottle and yeah and a Haynes manual lol cheers mate il have a go Tom

gotta work your way out from the furtherst caliper from the MC in, you will also need to bleed the MC too, fingers crossed there is no air in the abs unit, or you will need to run vcds/vag.com on it
