The bad part about O2 audio

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Some OCti2 drivers and I are searching for a better solution for our aftermarket radio. As you can see in the picture below this is not so nice.

Doe anyone know how we can get a better looking dash?

Now I am very glad I upgraded to the Audience Sound System.

To be fair with a nice header unit, better fitting and a decent surrounding facia it would look a lot better. That looks like a 7 year olds Blue Peter job.

I've read on a german forum that the Golf V facia adaptors fit quite well and look better

The demo octavia II (in belgium, I presume there's not much difference with dutch cars) I drove had a pioneer built in, it was MUCH more neatly than yours. The only disadvantage about it, was that it was built in quite "high" in the dashboard. The radio was in the same position as yours, but below the radio there was a thingy where you could put sunglasses of something like that. The radio was probably built in with some kind of adaptive piece, it was more "united" with the dashboard

@steviec, the sound of the audience is half as good as an aftermarket radio. That's why I choose this confugiration.
