front shocks what one's and where

Featured Replies

Just a quick one i am after some front shocks uprated ones .Which are best and where can i get them cheers for your help

Seems a little odd just to get uprated front shocks?

Id save and get the full kit (shocks/springs) to even things out. Koni FSDs or Weitec coilovers are usually popilar

I agree. Uprating the front and leaving the back is a recipe for sh!te handling, for sure. Octy needs all the help it can get on the back end as it is. I could understand the other way around (especially if ever used for towing), but not just the fronts.

i concur, its a bad bad idea, do all or none, suspension should be done in pairs at a minimum if like for like imo, but no way uprated sports fronts, but not rears, thats crazy!

I know you agree Damien!

I most certainly do. Actually I'm toying with the idea of uprating later on in the year when funds permit. Fed up of the soggy back end in particular. I'm all for balance, but currently, I don't have it. That goes for the financial balance too! ;)

i recon you should look at the fsds know what you are want from your car, and not oily coilies
