I am currently looking for a lowish milage mk2 vrs in race blue around an 06/07 plate,but every car that fits the bill has the 17" wheels and i much prefer the 18s.Bearing in mind these are only a bolt on item how much should i expect to pay for a set of 4 please

If its an 07 it should probably have them already (?)

Mine is a 56 and was one of the last ones with air con, no jumbo box, 17" wheels and manual rear windows.

Anything with red brake calipers should have the free upgrade to dual zone climate, rear electrics, etc

Jumbo box is the arm rest in the middle, the lid lifts up and you can relay hot or cold air in it if you pull a flap. Try to get cruise too

There is a set on ebay on auction going cheap (well at the moment), but look like then need a refurb (or a colour change ). I paid £230 delivered for full set without tyres which were like new. Didnt need tyres as had them already and the one good wheel i had left on the car ive used as a spare so dont have to use a spacesaver if i have a puncture.

There was a set that went just over a month ago (18,s) that were a few months old and went for £500 in the end. The tyres were like brand new and the wheels were scratch free.

There might be a set of 4 x18in wheels & tyres off a 2011 Octy VRS with 4500 miles coming up for sale in Hornsea for about £500 :sun:

There are quite a few 07 and 57 plate vRS's without the 18's, rear electric windows and jumbo box.

I'm guessing these are 2006 cars that weren't registered until the following year?

And in Ireland the new ones are still coming with 17" zeniths , 18" neptunes are an option only.
