Well after 6 months of being away (after selling my fabia vrs) and owning a saab, im looking at returning and selling the saab, the question i need to ask is which one to buy, it needs to be very economical so back to diesel, either the octavia or fabia estate, is it worth getting the greenline models or not? Any help welcomed!

Only go for a Greenline if you like driving sedately and don't want performance.

If that's the case they are quite good.

But you do have to thrash them otherwise to get average performance, although that can be entertaining.

I'd say it depends more on your budget and what you personally need, quite a few options in diesel in Octavia and Fabia.

It would mainly be for sitting on the motor way for ages so as long as it could sit at 80 comfertably i would be happy with that.
