just wondering has anybody got any pics of a blacked out chrome grill surround on a mark 1 vrs or a pic of the number plate relocaton for the front of the car,,,where its moved to the underside of the headlight,,(square jap plate style)

nice..i like this mod alot,,,i had one done in red on a previous vrs but i think black will look the part on my current silver octy

Mine with both bits done

Number plate is a standard GB plate with the GB bit cut off and about 15mm off other side, never had any bother from boys in blue over it

you need to go smaller on the plate and keep a standard one in the boot

i ran a small one for a long time never got pulled because of it !!!

That's far too small. I'm amazed you never got pulled over with that plate! ......... driving with that would spoil the enjoyment of the car for me. Everytime I saw the Police I'd be waiting to see if they'd be after me. That may a fun game for some people but playing with the Police ain't for me.

I personally think a square plate (although probably illegal too, not sure?) would look better in that location.

I love the black grille and custom grille badge though

Big plates look garbage and out of place when the bumper mods done, ok if your running a standard bumper I suppose.

And it certainly didn't spoil my fun or enjoyment while I had it

A square plate would have blocked the cold air feed for the airbox which was in the bumper grille.

It's all down to personal preference I guess, one of the reasons I let it go as every other vrs you see nowadays looks the same!
