Skoda Octavia 09 facelift Elegance model

Featured Replies

Hi to any owners of the above model, general information really am hoping to purchase this model in the weeks ahead and from what i read the car is great value for money? my previous car was a 2002 vw passat 1.9tdi pd 130 s model and i loved it having looked at the Octavia Elegance i like what i see so if any owners out there have any tip for me when looking to purchase this car would love to hear from you. Thanks

Are you hoping to buy new or used?

The only diesel engines currently available to order are the 1.6 TDi and the 140PS 2.0 TDi.

The 2.0 should feel a step up from the 130PS 1.9 TDi in the Passat with the extra grunt and sixth gear however the 1.6 is very good on fuel and people on here seem happy with the performance.

Elegance spec gets you most of the toys. Are you looking at the hatch or estate?

thats exactly the version I have, bought mine 4 weeks ago and great value for money!

Ive got the 140ps TDI estate....my first VW group car but really pleased so far!

not sure where you are in the UK but youre welcome to come look or PM me for anymore information you need!

...and yes the 6 speed box is great, performance is good and economy is also good - depending on how you want to drive it!

Guy at work has a 2010 1.6 diesel and he sees 58/65 mpg and states performance is good!

Hi, ive got one on order and interestingly, the light assist is listed as standard on the skoda website but as an option in the brochure. So make sure you get it included free if you order one like i have done.
