just thought of another question, i have a 1.4 MPI will an after market stereo fitted and i am changing my car to the 1.2 HTP but i am wondering if i can connect my iphone and if yes how do i do it

Depends what you want, if it's simple line in, BT hands free or music playback and charging. If your current HU does what you want then re-fit the oe HU and install yours in the new car. I'll assume you have the pin for both.

If not then you'll need a new HU/BT kit/adapter to do whatever you want then fit it. To do that you need keys, fascia adapter, possibly a booster.
