Is steering wheel offset? not related - MOT pass

Featured Replies

Is the wheel offset slightly? I mean when I am sitting it feels as though it is squint and not straight ahead

- one arm longer than the other.

The wheel is dead centred for straight ahead and is smooth and linear to turn.

I definitely have auto wipers, Do I have auto lights there is no position on switch that is obvious.

how do the auto lights work?

Oh. Passed MOT no advisories. Maybe it was helped by me cleaning the car. It was looking darn good

even if I say so myself. :whew::rofl:

If you have autowipers you can retrofit the autolights. You need a switch and a couple of repair wires from skodaparts.com. cost is about £60 and lots of scraped knuckles. If you search on here for light assist retro fit, you will come across a thread with lots of details on how its done.

The steering wheel thing is being discussed in another thread atm, called: can't believe Skoda designed it like this (even though vw designed it)
