vrs TIP..

Featured Replies

the Turbo intake pipe, on the vrs`s is it like the a3s where it has a little allen ky bolt holding on the metal part, or is it like the s3 where you can simply remove DV etc, undo clamp and give it a swift tug?

just want to know if i can get away with not jacking the car up.

:)

its got a allen bolt holding it to the turbo, and a metal clip holding the rubber intake pipe on :)

allen key easy to do it from underneath the car for the metal part to turbo but for the rubber part with dv on is just a clip then a tug same as s3 style

thanks for the replys.. i just went and attacked it and it was not as bad as i thought. i done it all from the top, tho my rocker is already off and i dont have a air box. i got the allen key bolt easy. The hardest part was getting the pipe in the tiny gap and getting the jubblly bubbly round the corner of the pipe so i could do it up. took me about 40 mins in all to remove and replace. dont really want to do it again in a hurry tho lol
